Character Bio:
Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.
Born and raised in Groton, MA, now live in Rhode Island. Met my hubby Matt while a freshman at the University of Rhode Island. We both liked RI so much we never left. Started out as a computer science major (I knew I wanted to be a programmer since I was about 10 years old). Discovered I was Very Bad At Math. Switched majors and finally graduated with Communication Studies right at the same time that we discovered Matt had a very obvious talent for programming (actually, that’s a gross understatement), who then transferred into computer science.
I am a southpaw. Actually, three out of the four members of my immediate family are lefties.
I also love teaching, and I love desktop support, mainly because I enjoy people and I have a knack for quickly figuring out how any program works. It also helps to be extremely laid back with a generous sense of humor. ;-)
Matt and I compliment each other perfectly. Why? I tend to be sensible to the point where it sometimes stops me from having fun. Matt can be a 'fly by the seat of his pants' kind of guy.
Matt helps me have fun. I help Matt keep his head on straight.
It's a good life.
